The Purangi Winery is a popular attraction in Hot Water Beach, New Zealand. It is open from 10am to 5pm daily. The winery offers tastings of their award-winning wines, as well as tours of their vineyards and cellar door. Prices for tastings start at $10NZD per person. In the surrounding area, visitors can enjoy the beautiful beaches of Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. There are also hiking trails in the nearby Coromandel Forest Park. The Hot Water Beach itself is a unique attraction, where visitors can dig their own hot pools in the sand at low tide. The beach is best visited two hours either side of low tide.
